Meet Bri, our stand-out employee for December!

Bri started working for the girl & the fig as a host in March of this year, but has quickly mastered running the books.  Described by her managers as always eager to learn and someone whose personality is contagious and naturally belongs behind a bar, she has recently started training as a server and bartender (now that she has turned 21).

Here is some praise from the girl & the fig’s managers, who chose Bri to highlight as this month’s stand-out employee:

Sleeping, eating, and enjoying the company of my cat

We are so lucky to have such amazing employees, many of whom have been with us for several years.  It’s absolutely important to acknowledge everyone’s hard work from day to day, but we also love to acknowledge our employee’s anniversaries in celebration of the time they’ve spent to make the girl & the fig, the fig café and the girl & the fig CATERS! what they are today.

Here are the employees who we are celebrating anniversaries with in December (pictured from left to right):

We’re mostly at the end of our hiring season for 2013, but as the Human Resources Manager for the girl & the fig and all of her sister locations, I see an overwhelming amount of résumés and applications come across my desk throughout the year.   It’s amazing to see the variety of experience and interests that bring people to us, and I try to touch every applicant with a response.
