Top 5 reasons you MUST go to This Dinner:

4. Dinner falls in the middle of April, we anticipate peak produce including: fava beans, ramps, leeks, carrots, and lamb harvest from Benzinger winery.
3. These two fine winemakers share a bond and a love of a grape, method, nuance, terroir, and constant fine-tuning their craft.

And, we are crazy excited to share it with you!

The realization of bringing the “fig rig’s” totally slurpable, farm-to-bowl ramen to Sonoma (& the world!) is just weeks away.

We have been perfecting these ramen recipes for months (and delivering them to happy crowds at Suite D every Wednesday night), but it won’t just be ramen that the fig rig will serve up.  The sky is really the limit with our new dream kitchen-on-wheels, so bring your imagination.  Weddings, after parties, festivals, markets, picnics….oh my!

Here is a sneak peak of the kitchen design:

Out in the Vineyard

GARY & MARK

Meet: Gary Saperstein and Mark Vogler, longtime friends and food & wine afficionados who joined forces years back to launch Out in the Vineyard, a company offering LGBTQ-oriented wine country tours, events (and now CRUISES!) in Sonoma and Napa Counties.

Saperstein has long been dubbed “the unofficial gay mayor of Sonoma,” so it makes perfect sense that he’d be dreaming up social gatherings and itineraries to tempt travelers from near and far.  Vogler, a Sonoma native, brings an insider’s perspective to the party.  Since Out in the Vineyard’s inception they’ve hosted private tours, community events, as well as the wildly successful Gay Wine Weekend, an annual affair.

Out in the Vineyard experiences include both 3 and 6 day itineraries highlighting the best, most beautiful, luxurious, and delicious of what Sonoma County has to offer its visitors, and with their combined insiders’ knowledge of Sonoma’s food and wine scene (Gary has been dedicated to the hospitality industry for over 25 years), there’s little going on that these two don’t know about.  Intimate wine tastings with up-and-coming vintners?  Check.  Private cooking classes with wine country chefs?  Yep.  Bubbles in the vineyard overlooking rolling wine country views?  You bet.

You’ll leave no stone unturned when it comes to this region’s epicurean and oenophilean delights.

So, what fun does Out in the Vineyard have lined up this year?  Check out their 2016 events, and perhaps we’ll see you out in the vineyard this year!!
